Today being a nice day in the high 20s-low 30s, instead of last weeks high 30s- low 40s (ouch) I took the bike out for quick blat around the countryside. I went from home to Loxton, then Berri and Renmark (with a brief stop to do an errand for the Boss, thank you Dear,) then across the Lifting bridge to Paringa, where I stopped for a quick photo op at the Black STump.
From there I went to look at the old Customs House that I knew was in Murtho, but found only a carpark, a boat ramp, and a house boat hire place, all hiding behind 'Private Property' signs, along with (I assume) the Old Customs House. I didn't even get a foot down, just a circle around the carpark and back to Paringa.
When I got back to Paringa, a left onto the Sturt Highway towards Yamba and points east, then a right to head back to Loxton and home.
219km and a couple or three hours all up. A good day.
