You're so right Carsten, it was another great ride! Fantastic ride home from Longford through Cressy, Poatina and the Central Plateau to Bothwell.......up the mountain then down the other side, between the Great Lakes......fantastic!! Some of the hair pin turns seemed to come out of nowhere
..........my mate Foxy who was riding with us for the day on his Yamaha XVS 1300 Cruiser told me later he had real trouble making some of the turns.......they were just so tight. The scenery was superb, but then again it's Tazzie hey! :) The weather turned it on for us.....sunny all day
with light winds......but it was just a little chilly. Foxy and I left home at 0740 and we had 4-5 degrees C for the best part of 100kls before we met up with Kev, Simon and Carsten, then it was 7 degrees all the way to Longford. It's the first time I've actually used my heated grips, and I gotta tell ya............they were a god send! It was a big day, I arrived home at 1700 hours, just as it was starting to get dark. How far did we travel????????........565kls for me, and I was having so much fun the back side wasn't even feeling the pinch!! Thanks fellas for another great day
