They are spending a lot on their parcel network but you would still be waiting for a letter  ;-*

In my experience i get stuff delivered faster from England than i do from Melbourne .

In this instance the delivery may just be a statistical aberration  :-[

Aaah Grasshopper -  There is an easy explanation for that - Its downhill from London and uphill from Melbourne so it takes longer  :whistle :o ;-*  :rofl

Yesterday I sent two screens to Melbourne via Pack and Send (  https://www.packsend.com.au/ (https://www.packsend.com.au/) ) for $37
The quote for exactly the same dimensions and weight on the internet from Australian post was just over $60.

I ordered some boots from Melbourne and they were delivered to my door in Adelaide the next day by courier.  I bought some bike gear from Queensland and it was delivered by Aust post 10 days later.    I think Aust post is heading to extinction, double the price with half the service, not a business model that is going to succeed.

When tracking an item sent from Arizona, USA, it took 4 days to get to Sydney, then a further 11 days from Sydney to Darwin :cuss :cuss :cuss :cuss
