Thanks Stimpy.  Number 11,000 was today's excerpt from my library of more than 120 books written by (or about) serious riders.  They're an inspiration to me- not only do they tell great stories about their riding, but their encounters with other folks, including like-minded riders, are fascinating.  We love our bikes, but life is really about people.
I'm happy to say the record will show not a single "one emoticon" post- I try to have something to say.  It's often fatuous, sometimes wrong, but always intended to be helpful.
Still a lot of books awaiting reading...

I noted you were 1 off this morning in another post and you hadn't done your quote of the day yet so i knew it would happen today.

I came upon 4 very old triumphs heading west yesterday after what i now know was the Laverda concours. I got to pondering what the collective noun for them could be.

Hey, it's not a competition, I just post stuff that I think some of you may get a grin from, or maybe scratch your head and think "Wha?"
