Came across this on another website

It's a crowded sky up there - - Interactive map:

1) Click on the hyperlink below

2) Move the map to the area you want to look at

3) Zoom in or out, as desired

4) Tap on a teardrop to get the airport name

5) Tap on a plane to get the flight number

I use the paid app on Android for FlightRadar24.

There is also flight aware for tracking flights.

They are handy to check on flights when meeting incoming family etc.  :thumb

We often see flights about 5 miles high and believed they were Sydney to Perth due to the heading.

Just after I first went to the tracker site I noticed a couple heading East but South of Jamestown (40km away) and were from Dubai and Qatar but both heading to Sydney. Would make sense that westbound flights would be some distance away from eastbound.

I often see the doha (qatar) to Adelaide flight when I ride home from work.
