A Ruby II is definitely on the shopping list, although I'm also partial to white.  If they came in the same blue as the Wing, I'd track one down, but I've had the Colorado blue and it's a bit dull for my flashy tastes.  Black is definitely not on my menu- poor visibility and shows dust badly.  The bronze is nice, but it's 2003, before they refined the bike.  The "platinum" like you had is quite easy on the eyes.

We are not to far away from Having the NBN go live in Peterborough. They're working on the out of the town boundary wireless service which should be up by the end of April. Then it's the towns turn with the FTTN service. Telstra has checked the streets phone line connection pit (future node point maybe) on the other side of our fence. There's also another pit at the corner of the back neighbours yard which could also be another node point. Either way we are first or second in line after the fibre goes to copper. There's also a smaller pit which is where our phone line connects and that was checked as well.

You wont know yourself when NBN network is connected. Still waiting here, the fibre optics are in, outer Portland has been connected for a few months now (they only had satellite connection before)
It has been promised that town central will be connected here by the end of this year.
Currently I get around 2.2 Meg/second dload speed, (only because I am a hundred metres or so from Telstra exchange) mate at the other end of town is on the same deal as I am, and is lucky if he gets a quarter of my speed. He is around 5 Km from the exchange.
Nearest node to his house will be just 3 doors away.

Dodgy Malcolms Idea of NBN ... will raise tobacco tax to pay for it.

I did a speed test this morning (while the local kids were at school) and came up with about 12.9/.9 Mbs (down/up) but then we're a small town compared to Portland.

I'm on a 25/4 MB plan with 1 TB (1,000 GB) download limit including VOIP phone to landlines and mobiles for $79.99 pet month with iinet.

I'm looking at this option -  50/20 Mbps 100 GB $60.00/mth which is about 4 times our current ADSL speed. Same monthly GB allowance we are now on. For an extra $10 we can add the phone as well. For another $5 a month I can up it to 300GB a month.

Another option is $70 a month and double the speed to 100/40 Mbps plus $10 for the phone - still $10 cheaper than our current bundled plan.

That's the best of the current available plans from our ISP https://www.aussiebroadband.com.au/nbn/fibre/plans-and-pricing/ which have changed since the last time I looked a few months ago.

All good - added some new apps (??) which I'd never use so I uninstalled them. Only issue is that one of the updates (on laptop and my 8.1 PC) in the past removed the GoPro WIN USB driver package so camera is no longer recognised when connected. Just means putting the SD card into the PC card reader instead.

They gave me $3700.  They are planning to almost double their money!   

And yes, Brian, it was me who put that shine on it.   

The weird part is, they don't mention the fact it has a cruise control, heated grips and Stebel airhorn.  I would think they set it apart from a bike that has none of those extras.
