Having just gone through replacing a headlight terminal/plug and the clock light I now find the gauge lights have a gremlin.
Coming back from Adelaide just over a week ago I noticed the dash lights fail to light up. Not to concerned at the time as the TomTom gives speed indication to keep me from funding something towards our state budget.
Tail light was working ok so that blew the blown fuse idea out of the water. The last time I rode at night it did seem that one globe had blown and one of the reasons I was looking at getting the blue LED light upgrade which at around $40 for four globes seemed a little over the top; I ordered 4 OEM ones instead and they'll get here next week (hopefully).
To make this more interesting the tacho lights came on when about half way home. After it got dark earlier this evening I tried the lights again and nothing on the dash. I checked the fuse and tail lights again and all ok so it's behind the dash somewhere. Apart from swapping the clock globe and just seeing what sort of light went into the gauges nothing else was touched.
I have a few weeks to check it out before the Glendambo FarRide but in the mean time; has anyone else had a similar issue?

Alan, did you pick power off the lighting for a project, I think I remember something like that. If so check that connection.

I was going to feed the TomTom power from that circuit but put it back onto the battery for now.
The parts from the US and the globes should get here by the end of next week and it can wait until then. By the look of the wiring in there I may have to undo a few plugs to get to the four globes. The tacho one is easy but the other three I couldn't even see before.
