ST1100 reflective
« on: March 17, 2012, 12:58:18 PM »
Just to let everyone know, I now have the ST1100 reflectors (some people will know them as Tailbrights) in production.

They aren't on my website yet, but will be soon and are priced at $24.95 per set (+ the inevitable postage) and include a felt covered squeegee, and a pair of disposable gloves.

Brock kindly donated his bike for the prototype and by the looks of the photos he posted, they look the bees knees.

I'll be bringing several kits with me to the National Rally at Blackheath next month should anyone attending want any

Cheers,
Peter.

Thanks for the advance order Tipsy, I'll put it away with the 'click- clack' card machine.

Thanks also to you too Kev, it's good to get feedback about the stuff I sell.

The reason I got into business came about when I first got my CB900 Hornet 6 years ago. Riding to work one winter morning from Castle Hill to Parramatta, my visor fogged up so badly I had to stop and wipe it clear. After trying a few ideas that didn't do it for me (cut apple, cut potato, a smear of washing up detergent, and good ol' Cat Crap - well named) to stop this happening again, I came across the Fogtech anti-fog (good stuff) - the same guy who invented this also invented the Raincoat. A bloke by the name of Gene Menzies, who's also directly related to Pig Iron Bob.

Anyway, long story short, I thought if I can use this stuff, maybe others can too and no one was bringing it into Oz at the time..............

It wont make me rich, but it will make my fellow bikers a bit safer....and me too :)
