I dunno about "more safety on two wheels" but there's potential for avoiding unnecessary stops to take calls that aren't urgent.
Apart from that, there's more to look down at which can be hazardous, especially in traffic.
Another very clever integration of available technology.

Call me old fashioned but are we getting a little to far away from the essence that is motorcycling.

I do not ride at night so I guess that this concept farkle  would be a waste of time for me.
I do not have a mobile phone anyhow, and as Brock says,
Who needs the annoyance of some unwanted phone calls anyway,
I ride motorcycles for the pure enjoyment of the exercise and there is nothing so important in my world that I need someone to call me and spoil my special private time.
Cheers to all,

At the moment it's a concept and from the text in the article would seem to bring together the phone, gps, written notes in the tank bag and other stuff which some riders do to varying degrees and puts it on the screen out of direct eyesight unlike the HUD helmet concepts that have been happening.

I'm quite happy with just the GPS and phone (for music) via the intercom.

Just something else to take your mind off of what you're doing

I 'm happy with my Galaxy TAB's big screen for maps, music and phone via sena,  I wouldn't want a HUD screen over my eye  or a dash conSTantly diSTracting me and STranger's ride,

I can use the 10.1 Tab in the car for GPS as well and for a short time had some music video going rather than just playing MP3s.

On the bike the phone for music if I need it and the GPS mounted above that gauge cluster. Hi tech screen would be no more distracting than checking your fuel or speed. as we do now.
