Title: Ride to Halls Gap
Post by: StinkyPete on November 18, 2023, 10:04:04 AM
This week Langers, his mate Geoff and I headed over to Halls Gap for a couple of nights.   This was my first trip out of SA since covid, and bit of a test for my troublesome lower back.  We stayed in a lovely three bedroom cabin in the Big4 in the middle of town.  It was a lovely ride in mostly fine weather and with good company.
It was pleasing to see a truck that had been tailgating us get pulled over the the police.    The V-Strom, the Harley and the Beemer got on quite well together.  :grin

I remember my ride to Halls Gap.  I took the scenic route via Queensland.  :rofl

Resilient old bloke is our SP. He looked pretty fit at the end of the day and full of beans early the next morning - unlike his younger and much less fit travelling companions.
It was great to get out and about again - thanks for organising the ride.
PS I did enjoy seeing the Karma bus collecting the truck driver.

Halls Gap - only a short 830 ks for me, could have met up for a dinner chat. 😁
