It was really great to put a face and the bike to a user name. Hells bell you put some distance in to Renmark. Then back home.

Spanner's bike was keenly studied by those who had heard the term "Rat Bike" but never seen one in the flesh.     :wink1
The missing mirror covers, missing left mirror, melted headlight protector and general wear-and-tear comprised a reasonable shot at the title.
Spanner diligently reattached his errant mufflers putting him in a strong position for the 2700 kay ride home.   :thumbs
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

the old girl is going up on blocks in the next month or two for some seriously long over due work.

- front fork seals
- timing belt change
- hoses and radiator overhaul
- change in front pegs to a wider and longer version - to be manufactured myself I think
- mirrors and indicators
- and a bunch of other stuff.
