First stop for the day was my former place of work to pop up the drone.  This is Lonsdale bus depot.

His little sister at Seaford.

Third and final flight of the day was at Sellicks Hill and the big Bhudda statue.  I've given up trying to come here when they're open so flew over the fence instead.

That was the drone's last flight for the day and everything from there on was from a terrestrial camera.  Lady Bay as seen from the HMAS Hobart lookout.

Have you ever wondered what kind of music the Delamere wind turbines like?  I think they'd be big metal fans.

The Cape Jervis Hotel was to be our RTE venue last month before omicrons saw us make a last minute switch to an outdoor venue.  I'm sure we'll get there one day.

The ride's first new road for me was Range West Road in Silverton and Deep Creek.  Here's some of the locals.

That bit of land on the other side of the water, known as Backstairs Passage is Kangaroo Island.

I've been meaning to get a photo of this building at Currency Creek for quite some time now.  Today I finally did.  You'll never guess what is beside the wall to the right of screen.

Answer:  A speed camera under some camouflage mesh.  I didn't actually see it until I stopped.  No doubt for the few seconds I was taking photos my bike was blocking its view.  This wasn't intentional.

I arrived at Finniss with enough time to make the obligatory walk to the station.  I contemplated popping up the drone but opted to save it for a rainy sunny day.

Then the riff raff began to rock up.   :crackup

It was one busy little place so fortunately we had a booking.  Others were turned away.

After lunch only a couple of stops (a hell of a lot fewer than from Narrung last month).  We're approaching that time of year when all the colors com out amongst the fauna.  This was in Strathalbyn, but I did take more photos of autumn leaves in Stirling last week.

Thanks for that ride report Bodo. I like your photos and wasn’t surprised by that revenue camouflaged raising camera. I look forward to enjoying the rides around your great State in September for the National Rally.
Thanks for sharing.

Great RR and photos Bodo.   Chris and I had a lovely day, and it was good to have Pete join us again.

The Finniss General Store Cafe had wonderful food and was booked to the eyeballs.   They were full and were turning people away, but despiote being busy,  the service and food remained excellent.   :thumbsup
