Saw something like that near Beverly on Saturday (The WA OzStock RTE), looks odd, and the rider was doing a very slow 80Ks on an empty country road, not a good idea that aint....

Yep I got me one of them St1100P as well! I got it at 60k 5years ago and it's now sitting on 161k and still going strong!

Had my son over to do a photo shoot to send to John Moorhouse to order my new seat and thought I would get one with my wife for the forum so see below. I will add my life motorbike story in a few weeks. Rigth now I have to go and pack, leaving tonight to do the route 66 tour on a Victory Cross Country with 9 Harleys and about 20 cars. 15 days on the road from Chicago to Las Vegas

Hey...................I didn't realize it was possible to order a seat from John Morehouse by sending a photo, Do you also have to send your stock seat so it can be altered, or does he supply everything completly new??

Hi I'm Nick

I'm from Heath Hill in Victoria and have a Candy 1995 ST1100S. It's my second bike, the first one, a 1997 Honda Dominator. I bought the ST from a guy in Canberra in November 2010 and my daughter and I flew up and rode home via Gippsland.
I have done one big ride with a friend with a GS1200. We went from home to Paynesvile, Omeo, Corryong, Tumbarumba, Tumut, Young, Forbes, Parkes, Bathurst, Goulburn, Canberra, Cooma and home via Cann River. We did it over 5 days and stayed in a tent.

A Honda CM 250 Fell off in the mud on the mud flats doin doies
Honda XL 350 Fell off once or twice in the dirt
Kwaka GPZ 550
Honda CX 500T
Yama WR 400 Fell off once in the dirt again. So i learnt from that
And now
04 Honda ST 1300 all over about 25 yrs

Hi My names Tom
I ride 1999 st1100.
My riding started in 1975 on a honda 250.From then the following have passed through my hands. 1 X CB250 2 x CB750K's 1 x CB900F2c 1 x Kawa LTD750 1 x kawa ZL1000 1 x Z1000st 1 xGTR1000 1 x FJR1300 1 x VN1600 and the current ST1100. Off these six iI have managed to put over 100TH Ks on the clocks.So you see i tend to make my rides do some hard Klm's at times.
I ride the ST to work and for weekend runs of all the bikes its the best allround ride I have had.Look forward to Looking around the site and seeing what goes. Tom

Welcome aboard Tom - from the look of the bikes you've owned and the K's you've travelled, you are definitely a 'go to' bloke on long distance issues and queries.

And that's a great rap for the ST11 about it being the best, since you've own the GTR AND FJR as well - (but we all KNEW that already - didn't we?

Glad to have you aboard. I dunno if you're in Perth or not - but check around this site as there are plenty of Sandgropers aboard and another RTE coming up in Perth shortly.

The next RTE is in Leederville, its not a big ride but there will be good company. Oh, you will need to get your self an Ozstock shirt, so you can help us Sandgopers keep the world record for the most number of OzStock shirted members at an RTE. We hold it at the moment and wont give it up with out a fight..

Hi all well i should start with the (err) good news after twenty years out of the saddle and playing it safe on four wheels - the wife left me, so whats a man to do??? out with the old and in with the new - i bought an ST1300 (05) and have never been happier. Whoa what a ride - i tell you i am sooooo happy. I have "always" been a Honda man (so glad Casey is back at the Honda Stable) and have no reason to change after riding the ST - i love her. Looking forward to doing some big around Tas and perhaps to the mainland.

I wouldnt mind hearing about any Tassie ST (or other) rides. Drop me a line if you are from Tassie - lets do coffee ( i dont do beer when on a ride)!!!

I'm down on the Tasman Peninsula at Nubeena..................there are a couple of other members who live in Hobart, Kev and Carsten, who both ride very nice 1100s. I'll send you a personal message later with my phone number etc so we can meet up and we'll see about organizing a ride with Kev and Carsten. Our last ride was up to Swansea.

Welcome simon' great to have you on board, I spent six months in tassie, lived on a sheep and cropping property just near the Nile, 50km south of launceston.

I was not into bikes back then though.

Better put up a ride plan then Couch, never know who else is about who wants to come
