Is this right ?

Its a 99/2000 police 1100 if that makes any diff.

Thanks Alan,
Is it hard to put in a delay on the headlight ?
And which battery trickle charge would you recommend ?

Ppopye,
Which plug do you use and could you send a pic of how you have it mounted and were.
I'm thinking the left glovebox with the old cigarette socket and usb for the GoPro.
I believe you can buy them as one unit.

Maybe Brock could answer this, the rear of the left glovebox has had major repairs, has this anything to do with ex pol ?

Anyway it's were I'm intending to put the charge socket.

Is it common not to be able to start up after about 4 days or is this a reflection of the battery ?

Thats more than likely the problem. Remember, the clock is always running. It doesnt use much but it doesnt take much to flatten a dodgy battery.

The damage in you glovebox may have been done by a previous owner, mine had no damage except for a couple of small holes for the plug used to power the hand held radar.

there are usually the immobilisation switch and switches for other stuff on the pocket fairing if that is what you are referring to.

On my bike in front of the glove box, was a socket for the radio / helmet lead, and a switch for the immobiliser.

The immobiliser actually allowed the engine to run while parked so that the lights and radio could run with out flattening the battery ( it would take about tem minutes). If some one jumped on the bike and tried to ride away, the engine would die as soon as the bike goes into gear.
