I did a facebook search after buying my pride and joy :dred11 and found the members page and joined.
Googled ST1100 about a month later and found and joined the forum . I couldn't believe my luck that i found a group of enthusiasts who were as or more passionate about these wonderful machines as me , the test as the saying goes is history . :beer

All I had to do was purchase an ST 1100 and 7 years later purchase an ST 1300 in 2005 and i have been hooked ever since. With 205000 klms on the big red bike I just wish they would make a replacement, the VFR 1200 is a poor comparison. Presently riding a Suzuki 650 V strom saving the mileage on the ST. Think of purchasing a later model ST but concerned over the dreaded efu problems.

Same for the ST, always like to be apart of a group of people with the same interests
Not to mention the information and knowledge this site has to offer.

I found this site when I returned home to find Bill's motorcycles had gone under and a google search brought up this post.
--- Quote from: richo on June 28, 2016, 07:25:25 PM ---I rang Bill's Motorcycles today looking for heated grips and was told that they are in receivership and can not order any new merchandise. They have a couple of weeks left. I always found them very good for servicing the bike. The guy I spoke to said that if I needed anything by way of fluids etc for the bike to come in for some good prices. I plan on going in this week to see what they have left as they have a full range of gear.

Having a look at the RTE set up I decided to go to one. The rest is history.
