NSW - RTE at Rylstone Saturday 13 June 2020

Rylstone, New South Wales

Approximate Eating Time: 12.30pm.
OzSTOC Events are not group rides, so you can come straight to Rylstone , or you can meet up with other members and take the winding way, it is completely up to you :thumbsup
If you have friends with other brands of bikes who you would like to bring along, they are more than welcome :thumb
Those riding from the Sydney area might like to meet up at the Shell at point "B" on the map (place called Bowenfels just east of Lithgow) fuel/coffee/all day breakfast etc around 10.00am. Leave for Rylstone around 10.30am.
If coming from the North, the Bylong Valley Way is getting busy by the cold seam gas people (another whole new story) so get in sooner then later.
A nice route from Canberra is leaving Canberra at 0730, riding thru Gundaroo, Gunning, Crookwell, Taralga, Oberon, Bathurst, Soffala to Rylstone. Anyone want to join me on the ride or just turn up at the Globe Hotel for Lunch?

Hello people,
I just made a call to the Globe to double check restaurant access due to restrictions. I was advised that they are taking lunch bookings as they are limited to 50. So I made a tentative booking for 7 at 12.30pm, however, this can be increased. I mentioned that we could be as many as 15 and she suggested to get the numbers in quick. Can we all please confirm by Saturday the attending numbers so we can increase. Growly, wasn't sure if 2 or 5 for you.
Can we please have everyone's names.
Seems as they might be booked out in their accommodation, but please double check if you are planning an overnight stay. Their number is (02) 6379 1048.
Stop 1 to meet up with buddies: Caltex Service Station, Great Western Hwy &, Ross St, Glenbrook NSW 2773
Stop 2 To have a refreshing cup of coffee: Coles Express/Shell Great Western Highway & magpie Hollowl Rd, Lot 1, South Bowenfels NSW 2790
I'll leave home at 7.30 from 6 Norval place Illawong getting to Stop 1 by 8.30 (wait till 8.45 for any meet ups then off to stop 2)
Get to Stop 2 around 9.30 have a cuppa and leave by 10am
Arrive at the Globe, Rylstone around 11.30
That is my rough itinerary and happy to amend based on any willing riding partners.

I just spoke with Jackie at the Globe. The booking is for 18 people.
Growly or Graeme, please contact me if your numbers change.
Jackie advises that they currently have accomodation and they have lock up sheds for motorbikes if you want to do an overnighter. Mention that you are with the OZSToc club.
Jackie also mentioned that she'll have the fires nicely stoked for us, but that we would have to be split on to two or three tables (Covid stuff)

Tomorrow will be cool but perhaps not as wet as previous years, a minor trickle I reckon. (layer up)
