Carrol's first ride
« on: October 07, 2018, 12:58:41 PM »
I have brought a little 50cc scooter for the wife to ride around the local area :runyay

The scooter is a 2006 SYM 50 Red Devil I brought from Crocman :thumbs

Anyway Carrol had a great time today going for her first ride and is now cruising around the local area with confidence :thumbsup

Here is a little video of her very first time out on the scooter :grin

Very nice.   Chris had a 50cc scooter that she used for local transport to work and shopping.  She put 50,000km on it before it had too many issues to make it viable to fix.

My wife has absolutely no interest in two wheels so I can't see her doing this in the near or distant future.

Congratulations Carol!  Fantastic!  Looks like you loved it.  I hope you get to do a lot of riding on it.     :clap

Good onya Carol for giving it a go. It's one of those things that will either hook you in or not. I was hooked nearly 50 years ago when I rode a Vespa around a paddock. A bit of water under the bridge since then.  :thumb

So...
How's it been going?  Any bigger rides than around the block?

All the rain we have had recently has resulted in her not being able to get out much :fp
But she has been out a bit since it stopped :runyay

Carrol has been riding around the local 50kph roads and after building her confidence has ventured along some 60kph roads to the local shopping centre :clap :clap :clap

She is having a great time and is enjoying it :thumbsup
