I did consider the Vic Ararat RTE for an overnight RTE, but have settled locally.

Forecast for Saturday at Wallaroo is 19 degrees, 37 knot winds, and 60% chance of 1-5mm.

Home safely.  No rain in the morning but very windy.  On the way home didn't notice the wind (may have been a tail wind) and avoided the rain until I was at Lower Light Two Wells area.

Also home safe after a lovely lunch.     The forecast was horrid, but I avoided rain on the way home until Virginia.   The water laying on the Northern Expressway was appalling as the road drainage is well below what is needed.    The road is concrete and the drainage grooves run parallel with the road and don't carry any water away.  The design engineer needs to find another job......

I encountered that too.  The speed limit had been dropped to 80km/h by the time I got there.

I have to say Pete, your headlight can't be missed.

A very good, bright light that stood out in the downpour.

I was pleased in my decision to take the Subi instead of ride, got the I'd up closer to lease budget & stayed dry  :grin
