Wendy's new LEDs
« on: September 07, 2015, 10:58:13 AM »
So I bought Tipsy's LEDs a while ago, and finally got them fitted.

Personally, I think they look great!

Went for a pre-dawn ride on Saturday and adjusted them a bit, no photos though....

Nice.   Decent lights make a massive difference when riding after dark o'clock.    :thumb

Hoping not to be doing too much dark o'clock riding on my SS1600.  12.5 hours of daylight, plus 130km/h speed limits for approx. 1500 of the 1600km....I should be home for dinner if I leave at around 5am  :grin

With minimum temps around 20 degrees, loads of sunlight, and a decent speed limit, you'll have very favorable conditions indeed.  You take care Miss Wendy.   :thumb

I was planning to do it on September 12th, but we now have an Indonesian exchange teacher staying with us for 2 weeks, so I've had to defer it until the 19th.

Nice one Wendy  :like Lights are essential for LD and any after dark on the open road.....

Can you re-route your wires from the light to behind the mirror housing instead of in front ?? The wires with the wind turbulence are going to buggar your paint  :think1

I agree, its much tidier to run the wires along the over mirror mounts

No one will ever notice the barrel of the machine pistol installed next to the indicator - That will get rid of the pesky motorists  :thumb :grin
