Hi, I was looking to install an inline speedo transducer and have found such a device however it requires an M12 speedo cable connection.
Do you know if the ST1100 has an M12 connection. I have looked through the manual and can't found the info I require.

Nope,
The 1100 is mechanically driven from the front wheel. The 1300 is an electronic pickup.
Ahh, I may be mistaken, just found out that is a mechanical adapter, no idea what sort the bike is, never heard the term before.

Yes, I am aware of the difference, just need to know if the ST1100 has an M12 connector before it screws onto the back of the instrument cluster.

Maybe like a nut and bolt denotation. Metric thread 12mm diameter. Take your cable out back of speedo head and see if M12 bolt screws in.

On a similar vein.. I am not using the original dash on the STealth project bike, I'm looking at a small electronic setup. I'm not a big fan of the hall effect sensors these use but I've found that ACEWELL (who make the aftermarket dashes) also have a sensor that is a direct plugin for the ST1100 speedo drive, so instead of it driving a spinning cable through to the speedo it sends and electronic signal. This makes it great for my project.
