From my perspective I think it is more about recognising when people "haven't got a clue" and progressively throwing in more researchable clues until it is obvious that we are all so thick that we're never going to get it and it almost has to be spelt out. I just don't see the point of having a picture sitting up there for days and days on end. If people aren't throwing in guesses it is suggesting it's too hard and they give up. The more pictures posted and the more people involved makes for a more fun game. I'm not suggesting posting ridiculously easy pictures either.
I guess it's a bit of a balancing act as to how hard to make a game...
But, as we've seen previously, if it's too easy we all quickly run out of suitable photos.
And in these times of lockdown and travel restrictions it's getting harder & harder to refresh stocks of suitable photos.
I haven't had a chance to travel interstate since I've owned my ST so the chance of posting up photos that, for example, members in South Oz are going to easily identify is virtually impossible...just as many photos of, for example, South Australian buildings etc are basically impossible for me to recognise without doing lots of google searches etc. But, sometimes I've been able to achieve it...
The reality is, for me, most of my photos are going to be around Gippsland so that narrows things down considerably for those playing the game...it's not ideal but if I'm going to participate in this game they are the restrictions I'm dealing with...
I guess at the end of the day it's all up to how serious you are at trying to solve the game...
