Hey Marcus, I hope our suggestions help. And by the way when you are making contact re accom or meals please order weather like yesterday.

Maybe someone can tell you when Balranald is scheduled before StinkyPete gets back from Coffs. Cheers

Dates and locations for all the states rides will go up on the forum next month, the RTE guys have been busy planning their states ride calendars with all your help for some weeks now. Some exciting new locations have been chosen around the country.

Marcus,

Looks good, I think we may have to introduce some non overnighters in the months of April, June and August. I will think about it some to see what I can come up with.

Yeah I was thinking about there being too many overnighters.

Then I just figured, if people want to go somewhere in those off months, then that will encourage them to put a post up them selves like "I'm going to blah for lunch on this day, who's in?" kind of thing.

Or they can contact me and I'll do it for them

Not to many overnighters. Looks good to me. Only in May and October I think it is I will have to try and be in SA and Vic at the same time.  Just some places I want to go to. Oh well. Decisions. Decisions.

Not even Vic but I would like to do NSW RTE to Kangaroo Valley, near Nowra. My parents lived at Ulladulla for a long time so we travelled around that part of the world a lot a few years back.  August might be good for a run out through Powelltown to somewhere like Glengarry where there is a nice little pub. Its either Glengarry or nearby. I will check. Food for thought.

Echuca is like Brigt and north coast nsw etc. bit pricey. Could try towns nearby, Mathoura, Nathalia, Kyabram

...... I would like to do NSW RTE to Kangaroo Valley, near Nowra ......

Marcus (and interested others),

This could be worthwhile considering on the slow (but not too slow), scenic route to the AGM next year.

Are you up for the Maryborough to Maryborough ride?

........ run out through Powelltown to somewhere like Glengarry where there is a nice little pub. Its either Glengarry or nearby. I will check. Food for thought.

Have been to the Latrobe Valley hundreds of times, by-passed Glengarry, never been into the shopping centre, did not know there was a pub, it's called (with some imagination) the Glengarry Hotel.  Put 25 Main Street Glengarry into Google Maps ........ is this the pub you mean?

I wouldn't checking that out one day if the ride to and from was via Powelltown and Noojee, and if the time and date suits.  Keep us posted.

It is the one I think. I have friends at Toongabbie who recommended a pub nearby.  I would have to check if the one at Glengarry. We have  intended to go there but haven't quite made it.
