NSW/ACT RTE Thirlmere Sunday 4th August 2013

Thirlmere Rail Museum (Google Map http://goo.gl/maps/Wb5T5)

Time:

12.00pm

Located on the original Great Southern Line, the Rail Heritage Centre at Thirlmere in 1975. Today NSWRTM is the custodian of
one of the largest collections of locomotives and rolling stock in Australia.

Its a great opportunity to see some history, and catch up with the Faces of OzSTOC at the same time, approximate distance from Sydney is 95km

Hi Gents,

I was hoping my ST1100 outfit would be ready so I could attend the Thirlmere gathering and introduce myself in person, but... it looks as if it won't be ready unfortunately. However, I could come along on my Bandit outfit if that would be ok? I am happy to park around the corner if that is the appropriate thing to do

. Looking forward to meeting a few of you in person,

Attend however you want. Better to get there somehow rather than not go at all. The outfit needs to be in the group photo I reckon

Also guys the most amazing pie shop is 1 block down from the museum. Loop line pies is the place, I've sampled them just recently and they are really good.

I was about to say count me in for Thirlmere, but Mrs 51% informed me that number one Granddaughter is the subject of a birthday party on Sunday.

I'm a possible at this stage after picking up my ST from Mudgee on Saturday and I concur with the comment about the pie shop just down the road. Although from memory they weren't cheap.
