changing diff oil 1100

I want to change the diff oil. not sure how.

Is this an ST1100 or ST1300? In both cases it is just a matter of draining the oil through the drain plug, install the drain plug then fill up until the oil is up to the level of the filling plug.  I would recommend a full synthetic oil like the castrol 80/90 as I have found it makes a difference in an older car diff, and a litre bottle will do quite a few chnages.
