Used similar hand made jobbies years ago..... Made from canvas and horse blanket, not on a roadie but on the AG bike bringing the cows up of a morning......toasty warm.

Me to! Freezing on the old Yamaha AG 200 in the Riverina as a jackeroo, i got something simar made by the saddlery for me....

Diesel I know that Ghosty (FR's) uses them all the time when he's riding in cold climates if you want the opinion of a long term user.

Might be cheaper and easier than heated grips.
But they look prize dorkish    :grin
