A great little light for the glove compartment...
« on: March 05, 2013, 09:09:29 PM »
I keep this great little LED in my glove compartment, and it comes in handy, around 50 times a day.... or there abouts....     :wink1

You buy it on ebay for around $6 delivered and it has two settings (besides off)

In the pic, the full array is illuminated, but flick the switch all the way to the other side, and only the centre two LEDs fire up. (Centre is off).

It even arrives with the 9V battery.

It's compactness and usefulness far outweigh its cost. Think of the uses... I velcroed one to my helmet to read tank bag maps at night whilst doing my Iron Butt ride attempt.

Ask me for a Bo Peep next time we meet.

Cheers, Diesel

Mate, I looked and can't find it...but I found about 150 other small flashlights, mostly LED ones that plug into a cig lighter socket, which I'd guess most people now have in their right-hand glove box?

I bought one of those led lights that you can wear with a headband, from a camping store.  Great for rallies and camping out. I keep it in the locded side pocket to use as a torch.

:thumb Have had one for some time. The best thing is the compact size with the longevity of a 9V battery. Brilliant.
Getting wind in my hair while I still have some.

I have ordered a lot as well. Worth it for the batteries alone.  May be good for prizes for those who go to rides...or I will just keep them
