"Hippo-hands" for an ST1100
« on: May 25, 2013, 12:19:23 AM »
Hi guys,
Has anyone used the Hippo hand over mittens on their ST1100?  I borrowed a friends hippo-hands made for an FJR1300 and without going for a ride I could see the only problem being the obscured mirrors.  I reckon they would keep the hands very warm.  Interested in any feedback or opinion before I buy.
Thanks

Brought a pair, cut a hole to allow for the GPS ram fitting.  Just completed our Tas FarRide and they were brilliant.  Used summer gloves with a liner and had the heated grips on the 2nd setting and with the whole 1200 kms not getting over 10 degrees, mostly around 1 to 2 during the night was reasonably warm.  They obscure the mirror a bit but not enough to be a problem.
