I have a PDF Workshop Manual, but it's just pictures of the pages and thus the text can't be searched which is a jolly nuisance, so I've just ordered one of these, and will let you know what it's like.

My workshop manual turned up today. Unfortunately it's exactly the same as the one that I already had, which is a PDF document of pictures of all of the pages, and not a PDF text and images document. Oh well, it was not that expensive.

Mine is the same one.. When I get some time I plan to run it through an OCR program so it can be searched like your after. I'll let you know when its done if you like and i'll get you a copy.

If possible, could I also trouble you for a copy?
I would also like a searchable one :thumbsup

Gee that's really great. Will the OCR software handle the photos as well?
-
Yep, it only finds text, doesnt change the document, except for making it searchable.
I will have to do it when I am not doing anything, otherwise it crashes
-
Updated, and should be searchable
-
I run it last night, I have a searchable copy now. I'll find somewhere to upload it as its 100 odd MB.
-
No need to re load some where, the version here when downloaded should be searchable.

Did any of you folks come across this adobe copy of the 2003 manual???? It's pretty clean...

Hi Brock,
It seems from this old thread that you were able to produce a text searchable ST1300 workshop manual, and that it is available. Can you point me (and others) to it please.
-
It lives in the first area in the 1300 area ( 1300 general questions)

I dunno what I'm doing wrong, but that's the same "pictorial" version I already have- the 53,558 kb version which is definitely not text-searchable.
Do you have another URL?

I have just updated the link, give it another try
