I'll be home on Tuesday- I think I can help.  I still have my old Starcom, plus the Uniden lead.
AND the Starcom bluetooth module if anyone is interested in that.
In fact, if anyone would like a cheap working excess-to-my-requirements Starcomm with helmet units and curly cords, shoot me a PM.  For a modest fee, I think Dale in Swansea NSW would install it for you.  I bought it from him originally and had some use from it before going to the Sena to escape the curly cords.

Yes- from memory round multi-pin.
Also, IIRC, it's screws onto the top.

There should be a round 6 pin plug I believe to go into the starcom, and suitable plug on the other end to connect to the UHF.

Which UHF do you have, hand held or dash type.

I dont know anything about the starcom, or the pinout for the Uniden radios..

Plug at the back is audio out/external speaker. This will be a 3.5mm mono plug, which will go to the audio in wires of the 6 pin plug. The other wires needed will go to the front of the radio to the mic plug. A separate plug is used fro tx control

FYI - Dale is longer doing anything related to Starcom and has suggested contacting Soundrider in Queensland for any advice and support.
I acknowledge hardworking Australians no matter who they are or where they come from. All those who have contributed to this wonderful country deserve an equal share of gratitude for their contributions. To single any group of individuals out for special homage only denigrates the rest of us.
