Looks like it's already been heavily picked over, but if you had room to store it, he'd probably be happy with a few hundred bucks.  You could get your money back a few times over.  Storage is the obvious problem.

Hi again I could not help my self I rang the bloke about the st . It has had a major front ender . He said for all that is left of the bike he is asking $1000 including engine which has travelled 203000 kms. I think price maybe a little steep in my opinion. Cheers.....

$500 would be top figure for an engine and few bits.  Let's face it, everything is very well worn at the mileage.  Engine might be good for another hundred thou, but it would need a lot of new bits that have perished etc.

All I'm trying to find at the moment, without paying an arm and a leg, is an undamaged, left hand side engine protector / guard,  whatever you want to call them. The steel tube thingy under the 'shark fin' on a '96 - '98 ex-WA Police ST1100.  Saw one on fleabay in the USA for $30 - but postage to WA was over $60 ! 
When to a Honda shop here in Perth last Saturday morning to pick up a couple of parts I've been waiting for a month to arrive - after all that one of the parts was the wrong bloody type wasn't it ???   This is the second time they've done the same thing to me for the same part !
I've been getting parts from for many years, first for my VF1000F2 (shut up !) then my CBR600RR and for the last 8 years for my ST1100.
BLOODY 'salesman' said he was too busy to look up the crash bar and see if it was in stock ! 
Said he was - and I quote - " wasting time when he could be making sales "
Guess who won't be buying anything from that Honda shop (down by the Swan River in Vic Park) ever again ???
Mean time still looking for that crash bar !
One of my mates sons, 'friends' took my ST for a ride without asking, while I was in Viet Nam for the year.
I'd shoot the little B******D if I could find out which of the little idiots took it - he dropped the ST on its left side and was lucky the guard took most of the impact.

END OF RANT - seriously now - anyone know where I can get a new - or near new, undamaged left hand side engine protector / guard ???
(AND NOT UP TO FULL HONDA PRICES !)
