Sortie into Bushranger Territory
« on: May 30, 2018, 07:22:45 PM »
My mate came up with a great idea yesterday for a weekender .
The plan for our trip i put the bikes and us on the Spirit on a Friday night .
Get off early Saturday morning . Ride as far as we can , claim as much territory for the mother land
Return to Melbourne on Sunday night to catch the spirit back home .
What a great plan .  :hatwave
Coming to a place near u soon  :beer

Mighty keen there young fella ..... around $250 and an uncomfortable couple nights (on a recliner, more if you get a bunk) just ride a 1,000km, or more.

But hey, don't let me put you off.  In fact to whet the appetite, here's a little taster that takes in a couple of bush ranger sites (in keeping with your theme).

First stop, at Beveridge is Ned Kelly's family cottage.

Second, at Harry Powers Lookout overlooking the King Valley, with of VIC's sweetest roads in between.

If you need company, post times and dates, and we'll see if can arrange a meet.

Cheers,  Williamson (AKA Michael)

Motorcycling, the best time you can have with your pants on.
eBiking, the second best time you can have with your pants on
Afterlife, up there for the climate, down there for the company.
If I'd known I was gunna live this long, I woulda looked after myself better

Depending on when and where I'd be keen to go as well.
