I am heading off on a small ride in early October, about 2500klm over 7 days. From Toowoomba heading down to Muswelbrook, across to Cowra, zig zag to Crookwell onto Goulburn, Canberra and NSW South Coast Batemans Bay then follow the coast road right up to Brisbane and back to Toowoomba.
Any body got any helpful hints on preparation, what to pack (a mixture of camping and caravan parks - taking a swag), road conditions etc - much appreciated.

If you intend on staying at the pub suggested by Abe beware of a guy known as Ewok. Funny guy.
