Title: Fiddly bits fixup.
Post by: Kev Murphy on December 11, 2020, 06:56:54 PM
Fitted some extra rear lights a few weeks back, after the clown in the tailgating 4WD nudged me from behind, claiming that he didn't see my brake lights. Cop in next lane ticketed him for tailgating, driving without due care, texting while driving, and a whole bunch of other stuff.
The reason I braked was because I had a red traffic light, which he also failed to see, (too busy texting)

Did that fiddly little job of straightening/levelling up the new tail lights on the bike today to
stop them from pointing at the ground, took about 45 minutes.

I used a short piece of plastic conduit as a spacer to prop out the bottom of the lights.

Have not connected the indicators in the new lights yet.

Probably a waste of time, Kev...If they can't see the standard brake light I'd hazard a guess and say they won't see your new lights either...

Apparently you've actually got to be looking to notice these things...  :whistle :||||

Hey Kev if he couldn't see the red traffic light you could have a million lights on the back of your bike and he still wouldn't see you.
