2809 Gold Coast Highway, Surfers Paradise, Queensland

As many of you are aware, Barry & Marissa due to be wed on Saturday September 24 this year. As proud Ozstoc members they have elected to wear their OzSTOC shirts to their wedding, as they are simply awesome looking shirts as I'm sure you would all agree!

The wedding reception will be a small family affair, however they welcome all of us to come along and be part of our ceremony and get your mugs in a photo or two.

The ceremony is being held in the onsite Chapel of the Crowne Plaza Hotel 2809 GOLD COAST HIGHWAY, SURFERS PARADISE at 11:30am on Saturday the 24th of September.

If any members would like to come along and share in Barry & Marissa's special day, We are more than welcome!

Hi Guys,
Marissa and I both feel it would be wonderful if we could share our day with our extended circle of friends and we are glad that some of our fellow ozstoc members are going to be there. I'll be there from around 11am, so if you guys want to plan on getting there a little earlier 11:30 that would be good. The ceremony actually starts at 11:30 and that will be followed by group photographs with family and friends around the grounds of the crowne plaza before the reception starts at 1pm. Performing the ceremony for us is fellow ST1300 rider Kenn Lowis who's better known as "Fasta Pasta". Kenn has been a fellow Redlands Ulysses member for quite a few years, and we're delighted that he could perform the service for us.

Hope a few of you can make it along to share in our special day!

Best wishes to you both from Tasmania...................sorry, not able to make it on the day! I'd love to be able to ride up for the event and catch up with some of my family in Brisbane at the same time.......but unfortunately just not able to do so.

I'm sure it will be a good day and am looking forward to seeing a few of you there.

Just so there's no confusion, the wedding is being held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 2807 Gold Coast Hwy Surfers Paradise, The hotel is on the corner of GC Hwy and First Ave. If you turn left into First Ave then take for first left into Beach Parade you will be at the back of the Hotel complex and the Chapel is about 100 metres up from the corner.

For some reason a few of our Ulysses friends who are coming along thought it was being held at Jupiters Casino and were planning to head there?

Parking might be a challenge being school holidays. But finding a spot to park a bike shouldn't be a problem.

Diesel I'd plan to be down the Gold coast by 11am. I'll be there by then.

The service starts at 11.30. After that it will be a bit of a blur of photographs with friends and family in the gardens outside the chapel, before the wedding party then has to scoot off and have more pic's taken around the grounds before the reception at 1pm.

The weathers looking great for a ride! ;)

I think that is our plan to be there by 11, i have the bike in toomorrow for new tyres and a 12V charger for the GPS so i am looking forward to taking her out for the run!
