(BTW: It seems to have been established that Winston has just turned 69 - the YinYang of ages - the age of wisdom and experience and balance in life -
).
The good news is that a Canetoad Courier was (on Friday) rebirthed as a Cockroach Coach with new number plate RDF 84.
The RTA person said "Do you want a red plate to go with the red bike?". "How much extra is that?". "$110". "Is it a one-off?". "Yes". "Can I see the plate?". "Yes - here it is - RDF 84".
I thought - It's got an "R" in it - That's good. "I'll take it". She said "Oh, and it's an extra $70 not $110". "Can you check one more time?". "Why?". "The price might come down again".
The bloke next to me laughed and said "Nice try".
So the 2003 ST1300 is now an official resident of the Gong.
Her colour is Candy Apple Red (not maroon - so she was never really a Queenslander).
Her number plate is red and white which is of course the St. George Dragons colours.
The way I remember her plate is Red Dragon Firebrand 84 (in an 80 zone).
