Good work.  Nice commute you have there.
I reckon I could handle half the speed- a bit too fast to appreciate what's happening.
Did I see a naughty bit of lane splitting?  No.  An illusion caused by the frame-rate.

A little, but you couldn't see my indicators from where I had my camera mounted. However, it's not illegal over here (but not specifically legal either). I heard the Police Commissioner say on the radio that it was Ok as long as it wasn't reckless, lane changes were signaled, and you didn't cross a solid white line... that was good enough for me. :D

It would be a darn sight easier for everyone if they'd put it all down in writing.

The "don't cross an unbroken line" is a tough one.  It's possible to avoid crossing it before you get to the lights, but sometimes you need to put your foot on it, which they can cite as technically being across it.
"Not reckless" is also open to interpretation and argument, but that might go for a lot of road behaviour, like excessive lane swapping.

The majority of motorcyclists think it should be legal for those who choose to do it "sensibly" and the majority of law makers and enforcers like to avoid the issue by banning it outright.  Even your Commissioner would probably be outvoted by his patrolling cops.

Hey Rob..........I also have the Drift Ghost...........so, what are your thoughts on the Camera mate?

I've only used mine once so far and I'm very impressed with the quality of both the video, and still shots. :thumbsup

I tried attaching the camera first up to the front of the bike but found too much vibration from the road for good video, perfect for still shots though.

Then I tried attaching the camera to the top of my helmet and the result was as perfect as it was ever going to be. I'm very impressed with the remote control, and I attach it to the left front handlebar, it's easy to use and easy to see which mode you're in, also easy to stop and start the video at will. No noticeable increase in wind noise from the camera.

Now just need to use it more often! :grin

There are many paths to the top of the mountain.....but we all need to find our own way!

Hey Couch - sorry about the tardy reply.... I missed this one.

I am really impressed with the Drift. I have mine mounted on the right side of the helmet most of the time and the remote on the right h/bar (GPS RAM mount on the left). I can't fault the quality.

I did a review here: http://www.ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=4486.0

I'm yet to take it for a spin in the country side though. Recently, I've been practicing my movie making skills: working out good combinations of scenes to make it interesting. However, Stanley Kubrik I ain't.

I'll be posting some review/comments shortly about charging, microphone, etc.
