Where do I buy a ST1300 Thermostat from ?

Hi, I will be performing a flush and fill coolant service soon and due to excessive fuel consumption, want to replace the thermostat. No "bar dancing" on the temp gauge, warms to 3 bars after 3-4 min riding and stays put at 3 bars in all types of weather. anyone know where to order one aside from Honda?

I bought a Tridon brand thermostat from Supercheap for the 1100, I'm sure that someone will be able to supply a part number for the one to suit the 1300. In general as long as it is the right temperature range and fits it should be fine.

I don't think there are readily available non-OEM thermostats for the ST13. In the US there are some, but they are specific to the ST13

Thanks Bikebaear and Saaz for the info.... I have not been able to locate an aftermarket unit on Australia google, ebay.com.au. only in the usa, will send an email to David Wilkins in the uk

You could try taking the thermostat in to Repco, abd see if they can match up the size and temp range.

Not a good idea to match simmilar unless aftermarket t-stat specifically designed for the ST1300 in imho.

Honda actually uses the same Tstat in several vehicles, it cuts down on manufacture costs. for example, the 1100 uses the same  one as one of the accords, so a cheaper unit from Repco is fine.
