Simple plan today......do an oil change on the bike, turned out to be a epic adventure that at one point had anyone been looking, they may have witnessed a little "tanty" or two.
So followed the same process that we all follow to do a oil change......all very easy and straight forward as usual until when completed the task.......the bike wouldn't start !!.....turn over but not fire.
Checked all the usual; Oil level, Kill switch, side stand, neutral, fuel, Battery volts all checked out......(insert Tantram here).....
Rechecked all of the above again, I had only ridin the bike into the shed yesterday and it had just completed the Middelton ride without fault.
Call to Diesel to pick his brains confirmed all the box's ticked other than a potential battery issue under load. The next step to rule this out was to jumpstart from another source and then time to start pulling plugs......as I said I rode it into the shed yesterday......
So just before a total meltdown I retraced all my steps.....now remembering I removed the Bikercom hub from under the rear seat in the tail yesterday afternoon, the Bikercom is being retuned to Dale for a programming update. The Bikercom hub I have installed under the rubber retainer in the tail behind the 2 pin connector (white) pictured below that I had pulled apart to release the Bikercom but not re-connected fully......reconnected the bike fired instantly.
A trap for young players and me aswell apparently.
