Saddlebag liners
« on: February 02, 2012, 07:35:24 PM »
Hi there people, I'm in need of some saddlebag liners this week or next. As the wife and i are heading off for the weekend. I was about to order some bestem ones from eBay but they won't be here in time. Does anyone have any idea where I can get some in Aus without spending some limbs?

The bestem ones I got were actually in Australia at the time. Did not take long to get to me.

I went to the local Strandbags and bought some "LANZA" soft nylon luggage bags that fit beautifully inside the panniers on the 1100. Cost about $25 each.

They sound great - any idea which ones they were?  There are quite a few Lanza ones by the look if it.... I reckon the have to be one of these...

They are similar but not exactly like any of the ones that were in the links, however I did buy them a while ago while they were on special so they may be discontinued. I just took the measurements for the panniers along with a tape measure and had a quick check for bags that were the right size. The ones in the links looked good and if they fit they should work fine.

I did the same for the missus' DN01 panniers. Givi wanted nearly three times what I paid for a set pannier bags, that's why I got them from a bag shop, sure the Givi ones were branded with 'Givi' and looked the part but basically they are bags to carry stuff in so who gives a...
