Have booked accommodation (for Nigel and me) at the Shamrock via the telephone, guy I spoke with didn't instil much confidence. I asked for an email address (as previous emails had bounced back), he didn't know the email address. I said write mine down (which he said he did), send me an email and I'll respond. All this was a month ago, I've had no response.

So I've now booked accommodation via Booking.com (I usually like to book direct) and have received a booking confirmation. FYI, for anyone one who has booked at the Shamrock.

When on the Booking.com website, they had plenty of rooms at the Shamrock.

I havent booked yet. Was planning to bring the caravan but if the planets align I might have a pillion and ride.
I guess I might have to bool a cabin and decide on mode of transport at the last minute.

Not that I'm aware of. Nigel and I are staying at the Royal Mail Hotel Wycheproof (trying to keep the Royal Tour intact), on the Friday, on the way there.
