South Australia Lunch RTE Saturday November 16th Overland Corner

Location: Overland Corner Hotel, Overland Corner (Google Map http://goo.gl/maps/XIMJS)

Time: 12.30pm

Information:

The Overland Corner Hotel was a convenient watering place and camp site for the overlanders and drovers operating between New South Wales and the colony based on Adelaide in the early years of the 1800's, well know it will be a stopping place for a few Hungry ST riders, so put this one in your calender to attend

I'm putting this in my calender but not committing just yet..

November has an oil change worth of riding already... but gee I like getting down in my tribal country.

I just worked out two routes for an IBA ride just in case.

It's a long ride for a feed at an old country pub, but we'd sure like to see the interstaters in SA.

I've booked for our group, and the pub will put us inside if the weather is unsuitable for outdoor dining.
Sadly Chris and I will miss this ride to a wonderful historic SA pub, as I need to be in Ceduna that weekend.

Unfortunately Mel won’t be there either due to her nagging back injury has reappeared, I still hope to get there.

My ride starts Friday 04:00:00

The route

Should be straight forward, get a few hours sleep out the road from Tailem Bend then push off Saturday for Overland Corner.

Sunday will be recon down all the Murray river Ferry crossings then to Robe .

Monday is a tilt at another IBA back up the river then across the Hay Plains and up to home. 1999km..just short, never mind.

Hi Everyone,
Kathy and I are all ready for a great ride out to Overland Corner next Saturday.
Has a meeting point been set as yet and are we going up one way and home another IE meet at Bolivar up via Kapunda Morgan to Renmark road to Overland Corner and home via Waikerie Blanchetown or other….
