I notice a few of the comments asking why the ST wasn't in there being heavier than most of them.

The website article mentions that the ST1300 was unchanged and being phased out, so not included. If you look at the previous year's version on motorcycle.com the ST1300 did quite alright, with all the positive features we all know about. The video better represents the test, as in just about every comparison I have seen everyone is fixated on the power of the BMW even though it costs so much more.

Looks like a toss-up between the Feejer and the Trophy.
I'd probably go with the Feejer just because it's got an ancestry whereas the Trophy is still Mark 1.
The Beemer is really closer to the Goldwing in that it's a 6 cylinder much heavier, much more expensive bike.
The Kwaka is going the way of the ST13- not keeping up with the technology.

I've seen John's trophy in the flesh beside the 1300's and it's comparable in size so it's more likely the one I'd choose.

I don't think I could justify the expense of the BMW 1600, so for me it would probably be a choice between the Trophy and the BMW 1200. I like my creature comforts and my gadgets.

Of course though, it really comes down to bike to individual rider fit. Which is comfortable to ride for several hours?

I like the look of the Trophy and when I sat on the seat it felt comfortable. The price is pretty scary though. The FJR doesn't suit me at all, far too much like a sportbike riding position which puts pressure on my hips and causes pain. I've never been a big BMW fan so I'm not attracted to them at all. I guess something like the VFR1200X  crosstourer would likely be the go despite it not being a real tourer, the seating position is OK and it has a sweet motor.
