no need to cancel a ride, does not matter if there is 1, 2 or 20 along a ride is a ride :)

Malcolm,My Leave pass wouldn't extend to Bridgetown but would be interested in a shorter trip. If you are interested in a shorter one give me a ring at home on Saturday and see if we can organise something .
-
Discovered my rear tyre is WTL (worn to limits), it may have 400ks left in it, but not enough for bridgetown n back plus another week of work.
I am trying to source some PR3s, as it looks like Z6s are finished and Z8s dont fit.

Good idea Glen. After work Saturday, I'll give you a call.
Ray and Turtle are you guys still up for a short ride? Seems a shame to waste a beautiful day :thumbs
There are lots of country towns hanging out to get a visit from a load of bikers.

Sunday morning arrived crisp and inviting.
Three turned up at the Caltex in Byford. Turtle, a.k.a. Ben on a 1100p, Simon on a FJR 1400 and myself, 1300a.
Left at 7.50am, headed south down South West Highway. :blu13 :slvr13 :wht11

Turned left at the Collie turnoff. Up through the Collie hills, past Wellington Dam. When we got to Collie we turned south towards Bridgetown/ Donny Brook. The air temp gauge on my bike moved between 15 and 20 degrees as we moved through the hills.
Lunch was at 12. It was amazing to see so many bikes on the road. I even got passed on the crest of a hill, with double white lines by a lady from Warnbro Wanderers.
Simon left from here to go home.
Ben and I continued on our adventure.
Next stop Gnomesville.
We parked up the bikes and went for a wander. When we got back to the bikes, mine had been taken over by gnomes. Obviously the blue colour attracted them.
