I've just got my 1999 ex police and the hazard lights only work the right blinkers. Is this common ?
Just disconnected and reconnected the guiv brake light and both work now. Very strange.

Check to see if you have the flasher can under the back seat. If tehre is an emty 2 pin socket there, then thats your problem
-
Seams to be a problem in the hazard switch ? I'll work it out.
-
`It could be, the hazard switch connects the flasher can in the rear to the left and right indicators. The switch could be faulty or it could be the the connector.
Try disconnecting the rear flasher can, turn on the right indicator and turn on Hazard switch ( it will connect the left flashers if the switch is working) if it doesnt work, then a trip to Honda for a new switch is in order.
If you are felling game, you could open the switch (its not difficult) and try cleaning and lubricating the contacts.

Yeah I think it's in the switch, I've noticed if I push the switch harder they both work.
I've wd40 the switch so I hope that helps, ( dads got the battery at the moment for testing, get it back Thursday )
Bit of trivia for ya,
Wd40 was so named because it Was the 40th combination of water displacement fluid tested.
