luggage rack/backrest
« on: June 07, 2014, 08:21:15 AM »
Gday folks, have just purchased my 1st ST, '95 model, it's an old girl but am stoked with its smoothness, power & style.
I am hoping to find someone who knows where I can get a backrest/luggage rack set up so my wife has something to lean against. I don't really want to get topbox set up. I have done all the searching I can do online & have had no luck.

Gday No1  :grin  welcome to OzSTOC, there was one floating around here a couple of weeks ago in search of a new home.....it may have found a new owner but someone will be along soon enough with its location.

I had a spare topbox and rack but that has gone. Someone may have an old gearsack rack sitting around. I have a spare universal gearsack rack that probably could be modified to bolt on. It is up the the garage roof.

GreenCan has one on his ST1100, it looks like a homemade job, maybe he can tell you how to make one?
