Brock:
Turtle, not sure where you live, but if its convenient, go to Scotts Motor trimmers in Wangarra. They can re work your current seat to suit you, and the workmanship is excellent. They reworked and lowered my seat and its comfortable as.
Just looked at the member map, its a bit of a way to go, but it could be worth it. Maybe there is a Motor trimmer in your area that could do the job

Rather than get my original seat revamped I got one of these from the US.

It's cheaper here on ebay which is where I got mine from. Funny how the manufacturer is dearer than a retailer

I put a sheepskin cover over that again
Brock:
Mine was a Saddlemen seat (back still is) but my seat was terrible, any more than 30 min and I was in pain. It wasnt made properly, that was why I had it altered and lowered. Also the Gel pad got very hot, and was painful to sit on in the summer.
Turtle:
Thanks Brock and Alan for the replys
I think the seat trimmer will be first choice to see what can be done
Thanks
