I need a new one as well and I've decided on

I haven't decide to go with a light tint or not but no tint might suit the cam but when I enquired a little while ago I was up for around $240-250.

Thanks for that Alan,
I have jus sent for a quote for the extended screen, light tint. I am long overdue to replace mine, and I wont go back to Eagle Screens.

I had a 'screens for bikes' one, +50mm each side and +20mm taller, worked great but still melted in the fire. :'(

Brock,
what is your experience with Eagle screens? I have their tall touring screen on my ST1100, but at 6'5" find it deflects most buffeting straight to my helmet. interested in other options.
-
The Eagle works ok, I'm 5'10 so the wind mostly goes over or around. My problem with the Eagle is crazing / heat stress fractures .

I have the same issue except that I bought my aftermarket screen from the UK and hoping the same issue won't occur with the locally made screen

I am very interested in hearing reports of these and costs etc including any shipping costs and hassles or happiness.
Cheers,

Hi all,
Back on the Forum after being absent for a few years. Hope everyone is well.
A basketball completely split my standard screen in half. I have removed the screen and am riding without one at the moment.
How did you guys go with the Screens for Bikes?
Is there a temporary option in Slacks Creek Brisbane to get one more quickly or is it best to go with Screens for Bikes
Just looking for a standard untinted screen.
Mainly commuting 300km a week on the 2000 model ST1100. Has 202,000 km on it now.

Thanks Rusty.
I've sent them a query and they have responded immediately. Awaiting a quote.
I tried to message and ring Screens for Bikes and their website says they are not taking quotes until next month - tomorrow maybe. The phone goes straight to message bank and the message storage is full so couldn't leave any details.
Tried local wreckers at Allbikes but no ST1100 screens in good order - just a busted one.

I think I may have a short screen tucked away in the roof space. Let me check & get back to you.
I've never used it, I prefer a tall screen & a short screen may not be what you're looking for.

Thanks Shillas.
I have ordered a 20 inch clear acrylic screen from Bike-Equip in the UK.
But it definitely pays to have a backup screen whatever size as no screen is downright freezing at the moment even in Queensland - getting down to single-digit overnight temps.
