We're a MOTO EATERY one hour north of Toowoomba, Australia on the New England Highway. Our unique motorcycle themed café is owned and operated by MotoGP racing legend, Garry McCoy.
Located at the northern gateway of the beautiful High Country Hamlets Micro Region of South East Queensland, we’re surrounded by scenic drives, rich farmlands, artistic communities and spectacular accommodation options.
Our Gaz is in house most days brewing coffees and telling his crazy racing stories! Come and check out some bikes and racing memorabilia and enjoy our casual dine-in or take-away meals, speciality coffee, house made sausage rolls, pies and cakes and, of course, our legendary burgers!
We’re open 7am to 4.30pm, 7 days - with plenty of parking for motorbikes, car clubs, caravans, RV’s and trailers. Not just your next rest stop – we’re a moto destination.

I could make this one as it within the 150 km restrictions
But probably no good for Brisbane members

It’s 183k from my place via road, but looking at the scale on the map (without actually getting out a ruler) I’d say it just sneaks in 150km as the crow flies (with a full belly and a tail wind, to quote HRH Biggles)

129.17 km from the Brisbane CBD to Cooyar.  118.5 from Steve's place.  It's a radius, so nothing stopping you!
65.9km from the middle of Toowoomba!   ++

I'm within the 150km radius, so, if I don't get a shift on that day, I will take me a bike ride to Cooyar with y'all.  :blu13

Maybe Shiney might be able to swap a few of the months around or a new venue till distance alters
It’s not about the venue it’s your mates you catch up with

216 from my driveway, 149 as the crow flies! Now if I want to travel a circular route then just out of Cooyar towards Yarraman 151k's as the crow flies - I may have to take a short cut through a paddock?

This could've been do-able for a couple of us Northeners but alas they have cancelled our show holiday on Friday June 12th so no more long weekend  :well  :well  :well
One day you will wake up and there won't be anymore time to do the things you've always wanted so do them NOW!!!
Remember there are 7 days in a week and Someday isn't one of them!

That's odd.  The Brisbane Ekka was cancelled but they changed the usual Show Holiday Wednesday to a Friday so we don't miss out on our Public Holiday.  I thought all the country councils were doing the same.

I remember the Ekka holiday being different days for the Brisbane City Council and Redlands Shire Council.  It made driving buses out of Capalaba fun.
