new bike help needed

just picked up a 2006 st 1300 . the abs light is staying on.  a.y advice on what to look at.  sensors are clean .at both wheels.

Maybe the bike was sold because of a faulty ABS modulator - not a cheap fix but seller obviously didn't advise if that was the case.

That's a worst case scenario but as these bikes age it will more than likely be a reality.

The issue could be anything from a broken wire to a failed modulator and the manual does have a method of finding out.
