Afternoon.
Looking to replace the plugs in my bike (ST1100) and I have lying around a set of new NGK CR7EH9's.
The manual says either CR8EH9 or CR9EH9.
Does anyone know if the CR7EH9's would be ok and if so, have you used them?
Happy to buy the specified plugs but thought I would ask the question.
cheers,
Wayne

CR7 will fit, but they are probably too cold for the engine, so the performance will suffer.

I just go with the iridium ones @ $22.95 each from here https://www.mcas.com.au/shop/item/ngk-c-series-ix-iridium-spark-plugs-03 (https://www.mcas.com.au/shop/item/ngk-c-series-ix-iridium-spark-plugs-03)
but I can get the four for the 1100 in the UK for £24.43 or about $45 plus shipping https://driven2automotive.com/ngk-spark-plugs/4897-4x-ngk-cr8ehix-9-3797-iridium-ix-spark-plugs.html (https://driven2automotive.com/ngk-spark-plugs/4897-4x-ngk-cr8ehix-9-3797-iridium-ix-spark-plugs.html)
The CR7EH-9 is the 1300 standard plug and not sure how it would go on 1100
